Job Duties
Seeking Integral Fuel Cell Mechanic to support the team
- Removal and re installation of structural brackets, supports, vents, tubes, and component assemblies in aircraft fuel tanks.
- Performs dry capacity checks
- FOD free inspections prior to tank closure, fuel tank leak repairs/leaks checks, and drain/air purge fuel tanks.
- Required to perform fuel system maintenance & pressurization checks as required.
- Required to perform Resistance Measurement and Seal installations to support fuel systems
- Performs fuel tank maintenance safety tasks including clearing the aircraft when applying electrical power, using grounding safety devices, performing lock-out/tag-out, and performing Lower Explosive Limit (LEL) tests.
- Defuels and refuels aircraft as required.
- Applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as; blueprints or manufactures’ manuals.
- Read and follow the Boeing and provided technical data, blueprints, engineering drawings, standard operating procedures, and manufacturing specifications in the maintenance processes.
- Provides troubleshooting knowledge, inspection, repair, modification, replacement of aircraft fuel components and systems and follow-on operational checks.
- The mechanic will be required to access aircraft data via computer systems and initiate on-line parts and discrepancy requests.
- Perform efforts associated with flight controls installation, removal and rigging. Landing gear ops check, door rigging and servicing of aircraft
Job Qualifications
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 2+ years of experience working as a fuel tank aircraft mechanic
- 2+ years’ experience reading schematics, technical data and work instructions
- Ability to work rotating shifts
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience with Depot Level/General maintenance procedures.
- Experience reading and follow the Boeing and provided technical data, blueprints, engineering drawings, standard operating procedures, and manufacturing specifications in the maintenance processes.
- Familiar with performing lock-out/tag-out, and performing Lower Explosive Limit (LEL) tests.

$35.00-$40.00
